General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of truu Rentley S.L. – Summary
1. General
Our General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all rental agreements between truu Rentley S.L. and the renter. Individual agreements are only valid in writing.
2. Vehicle handover
The vehicle is handed over in perfect condition, with a full tank and cleaned. The renter is obliged to return the vehicle in the same condition.
3. Authorized drivers
The vehicle may only be driven by the renter and second drivers approved by the rental company. All drivers must present a valid driver’s license.
4. Use of the vehicle
The vehicle may not be used for illegal purposes and may only be driven in the areas specified in the contract. Motorsport events and smoking in the vehicle are prohibited.
5. Deposit and payment conditions
A deposit must be paid before the vehicle is picked up. The refund will be made after the vehicle is returned and will be reduced by any damage or additional costs.
6. Fees and costs
Fees may be charged for additional cleaning, vehicles that are not full of fuel or losses (e.g. keys or documents). Damage to the vehicle, in particular to rims, tires and paint, is the responsibility of the renter.
7. Liability of the renter
The renter is liable for damage to the vehicle that is not covered by the insurance. Claims for damages can be made for violations of the general terms and conditions.
8. Insurance
All vehicles are fully insured. The amount of the excess is specified in the rental agreement. In the event of damage, the lessor must be informed immediately.
9. Late return
Additional fees may be charged if the vehicle is returned late.
10. Final provisions
The law of the country in which the lessor is based applies. The place of jurisdiction is the lessor’s registered office.
